Mixed Martial Arts (MMA): Mixed martial arts is a full-contact combat sport that allows striking and grappling, both standing and on the ground, using techniques from various combat sports and martial arts. Mixed Martial Arts is not its own style, it is quite litterally a mixture of martial arts diciplines which varies based on the training of the martial artist.

Submission Grappling:  Also known as submission fighting, sport grappling  or combat wrestling, is a form of competition and a general term for martial arts and combat sports that focus on clinch and ground fighting with the aim of obtaining a submission through the use of submission holds.

Muay Thai Kickboxing:  A combat sport from Thailand that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. This discipline is known as the "art of eight limbs" as it is characterized by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, and shins.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu:  is a martial art and combat sport system that focuses on grappling with particular emphasis on ground fighting. BJJ is founded on the concept that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend themselves against a bigger, stronger, heavier opponent by using technique, leverage, and most notably, taking the fight to the ground, and then applying joint locks and chokeholds to defeat the opponent.

Sambo: A Russian form of grappling that is uncommon in the US.  Unlike Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Sambo focuses on lower-body submissions and throws. Sambo was taught to children in the Soviet Union as part of their gym class. Sambo teaches leg locks, toe holds, compression locks, and takedowns.

Wrestling: Folkstyle wrestling is the most popular form of wrestling in the United States, emphasizing effective takedowns and top control. Folkstyle wrestling blends techniques from freestyle and Greco Roman wrestling as well as judo and principals from jiu jitsu. The objective of a folkstyle wrestling match is to take your opponents down and pin their shoulders to the canvas.
MMA wrestling adapts concepts and principles of all grappling arts with an emphasis on taking your opponents down while in a cage. MMA wrestlers need to be aware of body positioning due to increased risk from strikes and submissions.

Warrior's Yoga: A high intensity Yoga class that focuses on increasing flexibility and can help de-stress while also burning calories.
